I read this quote online.

It reminded me of my Pastor's heart.
Our beloved leaders of our churches- they carry so much of our weight.
We've all been wounded and tried.
We all have wounds we carry that we pray desperately to heal.
The quote also reminded me of my own heart.
And how prayer, faith and God, have carried me through so many battles.
But thus far, love has won, and I'm grateful for that.
This is my watercolor heart, I digitally added the text and thus created this.

Halloween Day. The family was running around like maniacs, excited about getting their sugar-filled loot, and I just wanted a little bit of time to paint.

A cupcake.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE cupcakes.

I so loathe that they are not good for you.

I wish they made you young and skinny and your teeth super white!!

I started out like this:

And though it was fine, I thought it lacked pizazz. It looked stiff and boring. No motion.
So, I got out my fancy pants, archival-quality ink pen and did this:
And viola! A more artsy cupcake, with more action and interest =D I love it and will put it to the front of some cards and sell them in my shop soon.
(of course, after I drew it, I snapped a pic, and edited it in Photoshop)
